Overall, we are very pleased with the truck and will anticipate many years of worry free operation especially with the 7 Year (100K Mile) Ram Certified Powertrain Warranty from the new WSD and additional 3 months of bumper to bumper warranty to the original 36 month new vehicle warranty. Since the Ram 2500 4X4 sits pretty high, the MPG is considerably affected by any headwind and in my experience in the Kansas winds, it will reduce the MPG by 2 to 3 MPG on the highway.

The ride unloaded is a bit stiffer than the Ram 1500 and as long as you keep your foot off the gas, we have been getting 16 to 17 MPG on the highway at 65 MPH (13 to 14 MPG in the city) with 2500 miles on the odometer. Have not towed our 30 foot / 7500 pound Travel Trailer yet, but anticipating a much better experience than our previous 20 with the 3.92 rear end and 1380 pound cargo bed capacity. Also, we will only drive 10K or less miles per year. It also costs $10K less initially than the 6.7 diesel as well as not having the $400 Oil Change / Oil Filter / Water Filters at the 15K mile maintenance plus the huge parts / labor costs when the warranty expires.
